Holy Grail Tab
Tabbed by Justin Lillico Acoustically, Mark plays the equivalent but with a capo on four. If you do not understand that, just put a capo on the fourth fret and play a C, F, Am and G. These chords are played as follows: (Capo on 4) <{Relative to the capo!}>
C F Am G The bridge (or interlude) on the acoustic is C, C9, Am, F. C9 is a standard C chord with the G string held down with the pinky on four. This is all written relative to the capo. When Mark plays it live, a little
bit of string picking is audible and this goes like this: C(E*) C9(E9*) Am(C#m*) F(A*) The piano riff converted to guitar goes:
E---0-7-5-4-2--0-0-02----0--7-5-4-2--4-0-2 I can also play it on piano, but I am not experienced at writing piano tabs. I will give the notes though (do not know notations for octaves so you will have to figure that out):
B,E,B,A,G#,F#,E,E,E,F#
