WELCOME

True Believers is an officially supported, fan managed Internet site dedicated to the Australian rock band Hunters and Collectors.

Formed in Melbourne in 1981, Hunters and Collectors became an integral part of Australian culture through their distinctive rock music and notorious pub gigs. The Hunna's featured a powerful blend of guitars, drum and brass, with Mark Seymour's intense vocals completing the package. Disbanding in 1998, the Hunna's left behind great memories and an impressive back catalogue, including nine studio albums, three live albums and numerous EP's and singles.

Mark Seymour (vocals, lyrics) and Jack Howard (trumpet, backing vocals) have solo careers. Mark has moved towards melodic acoustic based rock, while Jack's music is darker and heavier. Both artists now have solo repertoires that are remarkable in their own right.

True Believers exists to:

Help new fans find information.
Showcase Hunters and Collectors.
Collate and display all things Hunters.
Bring fans together.

We hope you enjoy True Believers and we look forward to hearing from you.
